I read an interesting article about the new Nintendo Wii. When they announced the first details on this new console, I was skeptical. It all seemed so silly! However, after reading this (and other) articles, I am starting to get interested.

Photo project

My friend Peter and I were looking for a way to improve our photography skills… We came up with an idea to assign each other bi weekly themes:
Each theme should consist of one word. The theme can be interpreted in any way the photographer desires. You can submit as many pictures as you want. The only rule is that you must use the camera to take the picture. No advanced computer processing allowed. It is okay to do minor adjustments, or cropping. The final results get submitted for some friendly critiques.
We are on our third set of themes. It has been fun and challenging. We are both succeeding in the goal of learning to use our cameras better. Later, I will post highlights from each theme.

Site revamp complete!

I think this is the way the site will stay for a while. I like this design. It is simple and easy to read, but there is much potential… Now, I just need to add more content!
I know I promised to explain my photo project with Peter, but it will have to wait for tomorrow.

Moving forward

So, I scheduled a moving day for us. I think we are ready for the closing. I can’t wait for all this to start moving quickly. I want to be living in the new house already!

Info about my camera

A few people have emailed me about the camera that I’m using. it is an Olympus E-500. This is an 8mp digital SLR camera. I have a 14-45mm lens, and a 40-150mm lens. Due to the format of this particular camera, these lenses have a 35mm equivalent of 28-90mm, and 80-300mm.
