Today, we went to Brookfield zoo. It is almost 10 times larger than Lincoln Park Zoo. More challenging shots today… I’m going to have to go back and practice my low light, and moving subject photography. I took more than 4 gigs of photos today!

Today, Nick and I went to the Lincoln Park Zoo, and the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. The nature museum has a really cool butterfly sanctuary. It is a great place to take pictures! The zoo was fun, but most of the animals were still indoors, so it was a challenging shoot. Most of the indoor zoo shots were taken at ISO800! I’m quite pleased with how they turned out. We finally had some nice weather! Too bad it didn’t last. The first 2 pictures were taken on my lunch break, near the Sears Tower. The rest of the pictures were taken in or around Navy Pier. I took the afternoon off to see The Watchmen on IMAX. After the movie, my friend Nick and I enjoyed the afternoon. His pictures can be found HERE when he finally gets around to posting them.
