Today, I have introduced a cool new feature. If you browse to this website on an iPad tablet, you will see a special tablet friendly version of the site. It’s like a magazine! Swipe to flip pages.
Right now, it only works on iPads, but I hope to extend the feature to other tablets and touch screen devices.
At this time, any images linked from my Flickr page will not show up in the iPad format, but this will not be an issue moving forward.
IPad users, please let me know what you think of it!

Yesterday, I went to the Garfield Park Conservatory. I took a long lens, and a macro ring flash. There were not a ton of blooming flowers this time of year, so I had to get a little creative:

Last night I saw Weezer at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. They played a greatest hits set, and then the album Pinkerton in it’s entirety. It was a great show.
We were all the way in the back, and I might have been the shortest person in the whole place, so it was difficult to take pictures. I had to hold my camera high over my head for these shots. They are extreme crops, and it was very low light, but I think I captured the spirit of the event:
I shot some video too. The sound is terrible. Apparently the built in camera mic couldn’t handle concert volumes (the video probably won’t stream… you’ll have to download it.):
