Last night I saw Weezer at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. They played a greatest hits set, and then the album Pinkerton in it’s entirety. It was a great show.

We were all the way in the back, and I might have been the shortest person in the whole place, so it was difficult to take pictures. I had to hold my camera high over my head for these shots. They are extreme crops, and it was very low light, but I think I captured the spirit of the event:

I shot some video too. The sound is terrible. Apparently the built in camera mic couldn’t handle concert volumes (the video probably won’t stream… you’ll have to download it.):

I took these photos while boating on Lake Michigan. We started in Whiting, IN, and went just north of Navy Pier. It was a really hazy day, but beautiful.

These are shots from the Sutro baths. This was my favorite photo spot on our vacation.

These are the pictures I took over the course of the vacation that didn’t fit into the other smaller galleries. They were almost all taken in the city of San Francisco. A couple were taken in Mountain View, outside of Google’s headquarters:

After visiting Muir woods, we visited Sausalito. We took the ferry back to San Francisco:

We took a day to Sonoma and Napa Valley. We visited 3 wineries, and tasted some great wine:

Muir Woods- I tried to capture the immense height of the giant redwood trees:

We visited a friend’s cottage at Diamond Lake in Michigan yesterday. They have a great field of sunflowers right across the street.
