A few weeks ago, we visited Brookfield Zoo. It rained, so I didn’t shoot as many pictures as usual. We did get to see the dolphin show, which was fun.

The next gallery is full of shots I took while walking around Chicago on my lunch hour. Jim Vendiola joined me for some of these walks. Don’t forget about his upcoming film, DRIFT.

The final gallery was also taken during my lunch hour. Mr. Blotto played across the street from my building. They sounded really great!

Spring is finally here.  I took these pictures in my front yard:

Nick and I hiked around Lake Katherine. It was a very hot day, but we got some great pictures.

On the way home, we stopped at Bachelor’s Grove Cemetery. It is considered one of the most haunted places in the country. I’ve never seen any evidence of haunting… It just seems like a very sad place.

Rochester has a really great children’s museum. The highlight of our visit was the time I spent in their butterfly room. They also had a great exhibit of the history of arcade games. They had a huge collection of vintage machines. I was too busy playing to take pictures.

Today, Amelia and I went for a walk around Arrowhead lake.

This weekend, we went to the Round Barn Winery and participated in a white wine making class. We got to do the whole thing, starting with picking the grapes. The second half of this gallery are the shots I took while in the vinyards

The first half of the gallery is random shots from the rest of September. I was unable to take as many pictures as I would have liked, due to my bike accident… These are all I had.

I realize that there are a lot of bug pictures in this gallery. They make for interesting subjects!
