Friday night, I went to see my nephew, Andy play baseball. The game was held in the Gary Steelyard, where the Gary minor league team plays. It was another challenging night time shoot, but i took some time to experiment, and came up with some cool shots.

On thursday, we went to the White Sox game. We were sitting way out at the end of right field, but I brought my biggest lens, and managed to capture some nice shots:

On Friday, we went to the Whiting, IN 4th of July parade:

After the parade, we went to a BBQ, where i took the following pictures:

That night, i took my first fireworks pictures:

Enjoy!

Happy holidays! These rather random pictures are from family visits over the holiday/birthday season.
EDIT: Why didn’t anyone tell me about the spelling error?!?

I finally got to take more pictures today. I was able to take the pictures I wanted for my current theme, as well as a ton of others. I took over 100 pictures today. Some of the best are posted in the photo gallery.
The above image is a panorama stitched together from 7 individual images. The really neat thing is that I was handholding the camera. I used a program called Autostitch to put them together. I think it did a great job.
Most of these pictures were taken on the beaches of Whiting, Indiana. Special thanks to George Timko for helping me to find the best picture spots.
The lat page of pics were taken while waiting for my parents to arrive for Mother’s day dinner at Millers Bakery and Cafe.
Happy mother’s day, mom!
